(Not just because we could buckle a few extra things into the car seats.) 🙂 I had three different sizes of car seats, and they all fit great in the bag! I’m glad, especially because we were rushing both times! The only bag that ripped a little was the one with the infant car seat. Yes, it ripped, but almost any bag is going to rip with an infant car seat inside being thrown around an airport. I’m not at all worried about reusing it, even with the minor rips. I don’t think the integrity of the bag was compromised in any significant way. The car seats were just as clean as when I put them in, just be sure to tuck the string inside after you close the top. I would recommend tying a little knot in the string after you close it, just to make sure it doesn’t open. Because it’s nylon cord, the knot was super easy to get undone after the flight. They roll up very easily for storage, I’m definitely going to keep them to use them again. I looked at a lot of car seat covers, and I definitely feel like this was the best quality for the price.”

Customer Review: “I purchased this bag when I was traveling with my infant son. I will start off by saying that I thought the quality of this bag exceeded my expectations. The canvas material is very thick and durable. The zippers are wide and sturdy. The straps are attached very well and have a thick, durable strap material. I purchased a stroller bag from my stroller’s manufacturer and was very disappointed in the quality. Based on the quality of this car seat bag, I wish that I would have purchased a stroller bag from this manufacturer as well.I was able to easily fit my Chicco Key Fit 30 Infant Car Seat and Base into this bag. It seems as though this bag is likely constructed for a convertible or forward facing carseat, but I was able to fit my infant car seat into it without too much of a struggle. I just popped the carseat into the base and then put the entire thing in the bag. I was able to easily carry the carseat on my back and push the stroller or pull the suitcase. The straps make it very manageable. We have a Britax Marathon Convertible Carseat and I tried it out in the bag…fit in easily.I took a previous reviewers advice and was able to an additional bag in with the carseat in the bag (i.e. a bag of toys/extra diapers that I didn’t want to have to sacrifice other luggage space for). If you put anything inside, I would highly recommend not leaving it loose, just in case the zippers are opened/come loose during transit. I would put it in a bag and then probably loop the straps of the bag to the carseat somehow (i.e. loop straps through the carseat buckles). I did this and didn’t end up with anything missing.Of note, at the time of this review, you should not have to pay extra to check a carseat nor does it count towards any free luggage allowance. I will tell you, at different airports it came out at different baggage claims. Once it came out with the normal baggage and once it came out in oversized items. If you can’t find it with the regular baggage, check the oversized area.Edit: We’ve had this bag over 2 years, with two kids and three carseats and it’s still doing great. After about 10 flights, there are a few small ‘wear and tear’ holes in the canvas, but they are small and not enough to be a problem. We’re still very pleased with our purchase.”

Customer Review: “We love these bags! We bought two of them, one for a regular even flo car seat, and the other one for the dual shyft ride car seat. When we first purchased this, we were in a pinch right before the plane ride and could not find a way to fit the base and the dual into the bag and thus returned it, but we decided to give it another go and buy another one when we were traveling again. All you have to do is take off the wheel holder attachment on the base, put the dual stroller in with the wheels collapsed, and place the base upside down into the bag. And voilà, it fits! There was also TONS of room for other things. I stuffed it to the brim full of winter clothes, summer clothes, diapers, you name it. I love how the strap either leans to the right or the left so when you walk and pull it behind you, it doesn’t hit your ankle. So smart. Obviously we tried it with one and bought another one so it was definitely worth our money. Also, very durable for all the flights we’ve been on.”

Customer Review: “We got 2 of these knowing that we needed to fit a booster seat with back, carseat for a 1 year old and a hiking backpack carrier into them. We flew to Colorado from Indianapolis. I’ve seen all the comments about these types of carriers being fragile, easily ripped or damaged and for this type, the top not fully closing. I was pleased with the bags’ travel though! This type allowed multiple carry options including as a backpack (HUGE game changer for pack mule dad’s through an airport). I wore one pack on my back, one laid sideways with the handle strap securing it on our wheeled suitcases and this allowed my wife to push the stroller through the airport and terminals, letting us spend less time keeping awkward items from falling and more time keeping an eye on our kids and where we are going. The durability was better than expected. There was evidence of large black smudges/scuffs on the back with some other evidence that it went through a trolley and travel system but I’m glad that was on the bags and not the car seats/booster. I would have felt the need to clean this off before putting my daughters in the seats, not knowing what all they ran up against (never trust Airport cleanliness). As for security, the top of the bag is a thick drawstring close with small flap to attempt some degree of concealment. The bag stays closed despite the rough handling it received. After how much stress it saved me during transport and peace of mind knowing that the materials my daughters laid their heads against was mostly clean, this was no longer a point of matter for me. I would highly recommend these bags as I was initially skeptical, but definitely worth the price to me!”
