Didn’t help Amazon delivered a box completely mangled and destroyed but I checked and pieces were all there and it was to close to Christmas to return. I went to assemble and realized it was extremely cheap, plastic, probably cost dollars to make, extremely disappointed in the quality. Then I went to assembled and the two halves were absolutely miserable to align they were poorly made and not the same size and had to be forced and coerced into lining up. Then finally got it together and put it in the base but it didn’t spin because again so poorly made and designed that the globe has no room between the frame to move at all. I highly recommend you do not get this product and not use this company

The books have a good number of words and games that he can play, and he loves the songs included in the Mother goose books. My kids fight over who gets to grab an errand stinkbug thats entered the home or any other tiny bug. Ages 4-12 range maybe? The kids have a blast using it and has helped make them less afraid of bugs because they can safely view them through the window. The lizard/reptile design is a quirky design choice also. Just scoop the bug with the two flaps and the big is safely and securely caught! Wish I had this as a kid!

Customer Review: My son loves just about everything National Geographic puts out and he really wanted the Sensory Science kit this time, I was hesitant because I saw some not so great reviews, but decided to give it a go, and I’m so glad I did. All the items in the kit were excellent and great quality , I also have to mention that the play sand is the absolute best we have ever played with, The texture is soft and it molds well. We really love it.I saw some reviewers were not happy with the pink sand in the kit and also weren’t to happy with the magnetic putty. The pink sand and the magnetic putty we received was great , the sand was incredibly soft. The Magnetic putty was a little stiff , but it’s putty so kind of expected , however , after playing with it a bit it softens up. We have no complaints, my kid loves the kit and I even like playing with it too lol.I would also like to add that I was surprised that a really cool educational booklet came with the set and we learned some really cool facts about non-Newtonian fluid and also learned about how putty came into existence, it was very surprising.Overall this is a great value for the money there are so many cool things in this kit and will keep your child busy and you might enjoy playing with it too just like I did lol.

I did notice they struggled with the difference between the 0 and the letter O and the letter l and the number 1. But that isn’t the fault of the puzzle. The pieces are thick enough where the kids were walking on them without any damage. The magnets are strong enough to hold the puzzle pieces. The colors are vibrant with the letters and numbers easily visible… you can actually read it very easily! It’s good quality and a good value! The price is on par with other puzzles like this. The kids both were entertained for it to be taken apart and put back together multiple times before moving on to another toy- great entertainment value! I would recommend this gift!

It turns out they were also a hit for his dad and older brother, and the three of them continue to build projects and have requested additional sets to add motin, etc. I think younger kids could also use it, probably even younger that 8 with help.We really liked the non-screen nature of this product, which actually teaches and instill a curiosity of how electricity and electric circuits work. This is a great STEM toy for a child who might not get as much of that in his day to day life.The pieces seem sturdy and well-constructed.It is great that there are a lot of projects that are included as suggestions, and open-ended by creating other things with imagination. However, some of the suggested “projects” are online, which doesn’t make it as easy to review, and introduces distractions.
