Easy to clean, easy to use and makes great coffee. My formula for this French press is: 4 cups of boiling water and 8 LEVEL tablespoons of coffee. I pour a little amount of boiling water into the coffee maker and let it sit for about 1 minute. Then pour in the rest of the water. Put the lid on but don’t push the plunger yet. Let it sit for 4 minutes and then SLOWLY push the plunger down until it can’t go any further. Thought I would include my formula for this one because initially, I didn’t know the ratio of water to coffee for me. I am used to a smaller coffee press. But, everyone should work out what works for them. I like a little stronger coffee, so you may want to use less of the coffee grounds. I am thoroughly enjoying this French press and the coffee it makes. This press keeps coffee warm a little longer than a glass one.”

Multi functional: coffee, tea, sanitize water, stew/cook pot (when hanging, titanium has a tendency to burn on the bottom), works on coil stove, gas at home / camp, wood fire. Well made/good quality: the lid fits tightly (I hope it doesn’t warp over time). Excellent design details: the side handles has a little notch at the bottom for your finger so it’s stable and easy to grip even when wet or with greasy hands, the top hanging loop has a centre notch so it doesn’t shift around / spill into a fire and it stays up to reduce the risk of burning when you need to get out of a wood fire, + it has a pour sprout. Easy to clean… (sometimes milk gets a bit burnt at the bottom if there are hot spots… but you can just wipe that off). The stupid stainless steel knob at the top is responsible for a lot of the weight but you don’t need it, I leave it at home (might actually just throw it out) so it’s even lighter now. Filter is fairly fine and I don’t get a lot of sediments in my tasty coffee… Bought a coozie from another vendor and it keeps my coffee hot when brewing and also protects my hands / lap when I eat meals. I think It’s the best of its kind on amazon.”

Customer Review: “I’ve seen titanium flashlights advertised for twice the price of aluminum ones so I thought titanium is a quite an expensive metal. Indeed it’s more expensive than aluminum but I didn’t realize that you could get a whole pot made out of this material for so cheap. It’s very lightweight and quite sturdy – exactly what this metal offers over and above aluminum. It’s suppose to be quite strong, similar to stainless steel thus manufacturers can make it thinner while keeping the strength. Coffee performance-wise it works very well. The mesh is fine so coffee grinds don’t get through. The press and the pot edge fits tight giving good resistance yet doesn’t feel like it’s going to scratch. Just be sure to get the proper size grind. Not all grinds are created equal. If you get the store bought stuff that’s really meant for paper filters, you may be disappointed that there’s some grit and residue in your last cup. If you get your own whole beans and use a high quality conical burr grinder minutely adjusting the settings to ensure a large enough grind each cup will be like a sip of heaven. I fired this up the butane stove and seems to take a bit longer than a conventional aluminum pot. Titanium isn’t as great of a heat conductor compared to aluminum or copper. Regardless this is great for those that appreciate a good cup of coffee while trying to keep their base weight down. At this price point I’d get 2 if I needed it!”

It did a great job of that, easily making about a liter of coffee at a time – enough for me and my husband to both have about 2 big mugs, while keeping the coffee hot. I use an electric kettle to boil water while I rinse out the metal filter from yesterday’s coffee grounds — takes very little time to clean and I can rinse the old grounds directly into my garbage disposal. I love it because it’s more durable than glass and I love the fact that I can order a 50 ounce size. The handle is ergonomic and easy to craft and doesn’t get too hot and it keeps the coffee very hot indeed. It’s got a very thick insulated layer. I couldn’t be more pleased with this brand. It’s best if you wash it out after using and don’t let coffee sit in it for hours and hours after due date. If you ever do need, you can do a diluted water and vinegar rinse and wash. I recommend not using anything abrasive inside of it. It’s a very, very good pot and it’s far better than the other designer brands available that are maybe well known. Very good filtering system as well, better than the most well-known brand in the business. Love this love the company. Customer Review: “Update: $15.60 is the least I have ever seen these go for. Just bought a third for the house 🙂 We have had our Adventure Press for 8 months now. It has performed flawlessly and makes great coffee (we like it strong!). It takes about 7 minutes from boiling of the water (we use an induction plate at home and in RV) to coffee: boil water, place three heaping coffee scoops of pre-ground dark roast from Trader Joe’s – YUM, stir till all grounds are wet and you see the crema, cover and set timer for 4 minutes and press. Voila. Enough to make two Yeti 14 oz mugs of coffee! Delicious! I have a brush I use to brush the grounds from the bottom of the press and a stiff silicone spatula to scoop out the grounds in bottom of pot. Easy to make another pot if we want more or make less by splitting 14 oz between us. We LOVE it for our RV as coffee grounds are my nemesis. Everything we have used gets grounds everywhere and I don’t want them in my RV tank. I have perfected almost zero grounds with the above method. We have talked about getting another one for the house as I keep bringing it in for coffee at home! Well made, light, durable, and I think of myself as somewhat of a coffee snob (other than I don’t grind my own beans……yet!) For the price, get 1 or 2!!!!”

Customer Review: “I bought the Widesea French Coffee Press in 2019. Don’t think that I have ever put it directly into a camp fire, using it exclusively over gas, alcohol, or debris stoves. It has held up well. I am sure that the silicone handle covers will burn off if placed directly in a fire, no different than any other silicone handled pot. I believe the pot is somewhat larger than the advertised 750ml. Probably 800 to 850ml. It is noticeably larger than the other 750ml pots I own. I use this pot not only for coffee, but also to warm water for my dehydrated meals. I simply remove the press from the lid. As a coffee press, it works great. I have had little problems with chewy coffee because of grounds passing through the filter. You do need to make sure that the press is assembled tightly. I bring my water to a boil, remove from the heat and let it cool slightly, stir in my coffee grounds, secure the lid to the pot, let it steep for a few minutes, then press the coffee. I have no problems with leakage as long as I make sure the lid is attached to the pot securely. For what it is worth, I use Main 105 whole bean coffee, purchased at Walmart, and crushed with a mortar and pestle. I do wish the stem for the press was a little longer, but it does it’s job.”
